Activate Acre and you have three working pages. Not three blank pages waiting
for a template, and not a settings screen to fill in first — a listing, a
search, and a property page, with the post type, the categories and the search
page already made.
Everything else on the site stays yours. Build the home, about and contact
pages in Elementor or the block editor as usual, and drop property content into
them with a shortcode or one of the three Elementor widgets.

BHK rather than bedrooms. Prices in lakh and crore, stored as plain rupees so
ranges and sorting still work. RERA numbers, PIN codes, carpet area against
built-up area, bigha alongside square feet. Nothing needs converting into a
shape designed for somewhere else.
The three pages
- Listing — a hero search over your own photograph or video, the newest
properties, then rows to browse by location, type and status
- Search — tabs for buying or renting, then keywords, location, type,
budget, bedrooms, bathrooms and amenities, with sorting and pagination that
keep your filters
- Property — photographs at half width with a full-screen carousel, the
price and the facts beside them, and an enquiry form that never has to be
scrolled to
The search runs on plain query parameters, so every result set has an address
that can be bookmarked, shared and indexed, and it works with JavaScript off.
Enquiries you can read
The commonest way to lose an enquiry is to hand the visitor straight to
WhatsApp and hope. Acre writes the enquiry down first, against the property it
was about, then offers WhatsApp to anyone who wants it. Enquiries are listed in
the dashboard with the property beside them, emailed to you with the enquirer
as the reply-to address, and exported to CSV.
Yours to change
Templates ship with the plugin and work with any theme. To take one over, copy
it into `yourtheme/acre/` and the plugin steps aside. Colours are custom
properties, so a rebrand is usually four lines of CSS rather than a template at
all.
Requirements
WordPress 6.0 or later, PHP 7.4 or later. No page builder required. No ACF or
other field plugin required — a paid plugin that needs another paid plugin is
not a product.
